BMW x Meta AR Research
As part of BMW's AR Research team, I'm collaborating with Meta's Reality Labs teams to explore AR and VR technology for enhancing our vehicle experiences.
Our collaboration focused on two key areas:
Improving AR/VR content stability in moving vehicles by integrating real-time IMU and GPS data from vehicle sensors into AR/VR tracking systems, ensuring virtual content remains stable both inside and outside the car.
Exploring AR/VR use cases for the automotive environment, including productivity, entertainment, navigation, and everyday applications within the BMW ecosystem.
We built mixed-reality demos on Meta's devices that show what's possible when you bring AR into cars.
